Sea & Sea DX ? 5000G

The DX-5000G will allow you to take your compact underwater digital photography to new limits you only dreamed of.

Snap what you see with the world's fastest shutter lag of only 0.12 seconds on a compact digital camera.

The 5000G has a effective image quality of 5.13 mega pixels, with 28mm-80mm lens and a 3 x optical zoom from wide angle to telephoto. The 0.6x wide-angle conversion lens (available separately) for the DX-5000G housing attaches directly to the housing using the specially designed bayonet mount. This allows you to take wide angle shots equivalent to a 17mm lens. In macro mode you'll be able to impress your friends with shots of Nemo as close as 10mm away.

Besides full automatic and six scene modes, the more advanced photographers will also like the manual modes of operation, with the wide ISO range (64 to 1600) and the Aperture priority and manual exposure modes you will have a lot more options.

The polycarbonate housing is rated to a depth of 55m, and allows the user to access all of the features available on the 5000G camera. It is designed with an external strobe in mind: two sockets allow direct connection of the fiber-optic cables of the Sea&Sea YS-25 and YS-90 series . There is also a versatile internal flash diffuser that with the push of a lever slips into place to soften the camera's internal flash, or moves out of the way for strong, clear lighting.
