Most dive operators carry an injury and evacuation insurance to protect you. Unfortunately for you an open ended insurance coverage is just too expensive.

The number of divers that each centre takes diving makes it cost prohibitive to insure each customer to an open ended level. Across the board most dive operator insurance polices cover dive injuries and illness to a level of US$ 250 or 10,000 Baht.

Samui has two international hospitals and one international re-compression chamber. They offer a high standard of service but their billing rates are also in line with this service.
